  I would have given no stars if I could! Whoever is running the schedules for this bus company must not ride the bus to get to work, or anywhere else for that matter. Not one bus runs early enough to get you to work at a decent time and not run late enough after work to get you home. Every morning I see 4 to 5 buses going by that say out of service or are going to their starting position but don't pick anybody up on the way. Just empty buses wasting gas running down the road and you could be having an income if you would pick up people that were standing at the bus stop along the way. The late-night free shuttle is never at the time that it says it's going to be, if it even comes at all. How can buses be running empty and be giving free rides and still be surviving? Sounds like money laundering to me. And !!!BEWARE!!! young foreign girls---the drivers are a bunch of pedophiles. You don't realize what they're doing to you or trying to do to you. I've seen many of times the disgusting, fat pig drivers hitting on and giving away free rides and all day passes to these young foreign girls thinking that they're going to get something. Somebody really needs to look into these drivers and this bus company!!

  If I was given the option, I wouldn't have put any stars!!! The most HORRIBLE public transit I have ever had to deal with. So unreliable, so many times have I waited for hours for the TART. On top of that, the app they have, to check the time of arrival for the TART is so inaccurate, the times for the bus jump back and forth. 1 minute it says it's going to be there in 25 minutes then when I go to check it again it will jump to 58 minutes, and it's continuously doing that for every bus I check times for. Today while I was waiting at the Hampton the bus drove right by the Hampton without pulling in, so when I called to ask what the problem was, that I've been waiting there for almost 2 and a half hours for a bus, and it drove right past me. They're response was telling me there was a customer on the bus that had an emergency and had to get to Truckee, that's why it didn't stop. So my question is since when is the Truckee TART running emergency services for random customers instead of dropping the person off at the next stop and having them call 911? I'm so disappointed in the public transit and the city of Truckee in general. The only reason I continue to rely on the unreliable TART, is because my car was stolen and wrecked. I have no other choice. If you are new to the area, I would recommend finding any other way to get around, instead of waiting and waiting for the TART. No one ever seems to know the arrival times and most likely you will be waiting for hours. Good luck!

  Should have read the reviews because they are spot on. I've been to mountain towns all over and this is by far the most worthless transit system I have ever come across. And just being one hour and 45 minutes late on a bus that is supposed to come every 30 minutes wasn't the worst part, it was the rude unprofessional and incompetent workers that flat out refused to do their job. Never again, will spend the money to take a cab every time from here on out.
